Contiene: The volume is divided into four parts. In the first part, different specialists give introduccion to different archaeological materials from the north-western Argentinian region. Susana Renard provides an introduction to the study of prehistoric textiles. Javier Nastri introduces us to the lithic material of the region. Luis González displays the importance of metallurgy in the prehistoric cultures in the area, showing how technology evolved through time. In the second part, the 1930.39 collection is presented. In the third part, Osteological and dental analyses have been carried out by Leif Jonsson and Helene Borrman, the textile aspects have been studied by Kerstin Gustafsson.
