La investigación sobre el impacto de la guerra civil española en algunos grupos de la sociedad peruana, así como las razones del mismo, aún requieren de una mayor investigación. En su artículo El autor trata de encontrar respuestas a este vacío, presentando algunos argumentos de respuesta y otros sobre la necesidad de continuar esas investigaciones sobre el legado de la guerra civil tanto en el corto como en el largo plazo. Expone los antecedentes históricos de la relación entre Perú y España. Identifica la cantidad de peruanos que viven en España en el momento de la guerra civil y señala aquellos que se enrolan en las filas republicanas.

The study on the impact of the Spanish civil war in some groups of the Peruvian society, as well as the reasons of himself, still require of a greater investigation. In his article the author tries to find answers to this emptiness, presenting and displaying some arguments of answer and others on the importance to continue those investigations as much on the legacy of the civil war in the short one as in the long term. It exposes the historical frame of the relation between Peru and Spain. It identifies the amount of Peruvian that lives in Spain at the years of the civil war and indicates those that they are enlisted in the republican rows.
