En este artículo los autores examinan la construcción simbólica del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, que incluye un vasto terreno icónico, estético y discursivo. La producción de diferentes sentidos da cuenta de alegorías que devienen de los imaginarios precedentes amalgamados con aquellos edificados en el contexto del nuevo orden estatal en curso.

In this article, the authors examine the symbolic construction of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, which includes a vast iconic, aesthetic and discursive terrain. The production of different meanings reveals how allegories derived from previous imaginaries are amalgamated with those constructed in the context of the new state arrangements currently being put in place.
