520			_aEl artículo se refiere al Archivo Regional de Oruro, uno de los repositorios archivísticos más modernos de Bolivia, dependiente del Archivo Histórico de la Minería Nacional de la Corporación Minera de Bolivia, creado por DS. 27490 de 14 de mayo de 2004, que dio origen al Sistema de Archivo de la COMIBOL, con sus componentes Regionales en Oruro, Potosí, La Paz, Pulacayo y Catavi. El Archivo Regional de Oruro empieza sus labores el 2009, con la concentración de fondos documentales de "Almacenes Generales de la COMIBOL" y los centros mineros del Departamento de Oruro. Resguarda documentación desde los tiempos de Simón I. Patiño, Mauricio Hochschild y la Compañía Minera de Oruro, de los magnates chilenos Enrique y Melchor Concha y Toro, y documentos de la Corporación Minera de Bolivia (1952). Custodia y preserva sus documentaciones; sirve a la Corporación Minera de Bolivia, a instituciones públicas y privadas y a la ciudadanía en general. La metodología que aplica en la organización de sus fondos documentales se basa en postulados de la Gestión Documental Integrada, el enfoque sistémico, el principio del continuo documental y el uso de herramientas tecnológicas, para avanzar en el gobierno electrónico.
